Kaiser's Gate for Savage Worlds - Kickstarter

Not by Fainting Goat per se - but definitely Goat related,

Kaiser's Gate is a setting (written by yours truly and Bryan Hitchcock) for the Savage Worlds System.

(and we're running a Kickstarter to fund it....)

In this alt-history setting, the introduction of magic drastically changed the course of WW1.
Does dogfighting with dragons sound interesting?
Golem anti-tank squads?
Zombies as weapons of mass destruction?

Embarrassing Video That Didn't Make the Cut for the Kickstarter

This was almost used a funny bit tacked onto the end of the Kickstarter video.
Luckily, wiser heads prevailed.
Thought it might amuse the handful of folks who actually pay attention to this blog :)

We met out Kickstarter Goal and more!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed - we've raised the 400 dollars - we're actually up to 483 at the moment.

Just $67 away from unlocking another Improbable Tales adventure. So - please - spread the word!

We had to tweak a few of the reward levels to allow for shipping costs and whatnot.

Kickstarter Reward Idea: The TDB slot

There was some discussion on the ICONS Yahoo group about what ICONS fans want to see.

John McMullen (of Hope Prep fame) suggested that once something is at the Kickstarter phase, its tone and direction was already set -- and he does have a point

So - here's how I responded:

This is something I struggled with on the Kickstarter.You want to incorporate feedback.But you want to do in a meaningful way.Guys who do kickstarters for films or webseries will give the contributors avote on casting options, for example.
So - I'm debating adding a TBD slot. A 6th adventure which is yet to bedetermined and whose content will be selected by the contributors.
It will unlock when the original funding goal is set - and everyone who hascontributed at a certain level or higher (5 or 10 bucks) gets to vote from aslate of possible adventures (some suggested by me, and some suggested by othercontributors.)
Along those same lines, we'll probably have input from the contributors on coverideas, the images of the villains in the adventure and so on.
If we do better than expected, we could have additional TDB slots that unlockfor every additional $120 we raise above the initial goal.

Just an idea - what do you guys think?
